The last fiction of Çagla Zencirci & Guillaume Giovanetti has been awarded the Prize of the Best Film in its section, at the Noci Film Festival, South Italy. The co-directors were invited in the Puglia Region and received their trophy. After having been screened in about 30 Festivals in Europe and North America, it was the first time Carnegami was coming back home.

The last fiction of Çagla Zencirci & Guillaume Giovanetti has been awarded the Prize of the Best Film in its section, at the Noci Film Festival, South Italy. After the Cork Film Festival (Ireland), a major one in Europe, 2 new countries invited the last documentary by Çagla Zencirci & Guillaume Giovanetti, shantyGARDENtown. In October the film will indeed compete in the 7th Docupolis, Barcelona's International Documentary Film Festival, one of the main ones in Spain, and take part into the East Silver Docs Market, in the frame of the International Jihlava Documentary Film Festival, Czech Republic.

shantyGARDENtown, the last documentary by Çagla Zencirci & Guillaume Giovanetti, has been screened in early September at the Safranbolu Documentary Film festival, North of Turkey. Furthermore, it has been selected at the 24th Kassel Documentary Film Festival, one of of Germany's major Doc Festival, happening in November. In particular, it is nominated to the prestigious "Golden Key", a section opened to only 14 outstanding films by young directors.

The new documentary project by Cagla Zencirci & Guillaume Giovanetti, Soheil, Sufi Dancer, has been selected for the main European Co-production Market for Documentaries about Middle-East, Astrolabio.doc, in Rome.
This project will have as a starting point some rushes the co-directors shot since 2002 in Pakistan and Italy. It will follow the path of a young Pakistani transe dancer from Punjab to Italy during the 2000's. Çagla Zencirci & Guillaume will go to Italy in early october to present the project.

It will be screened in competition in the frame of the Olympic Park of the Australian Capital in January 2008, for its Premiere in the country.

Carnegami will first compete in the Polish Capital, and will then be part of a prgramm screened in 15 cities of Poland, including Krakow, Gdansk and Lodz.

Following its presentation in Cannes and the grant of the MEDIA Programme Development Fund, the Pakistani feature film project by Çagla Zencirci & Guillaume Giovanetti Tu Mera Dil, Tu Meri Jaan (You are my heart, you are my soul) has just been selected to the Goa Co-Operation Forum, South India. In late November, the Producers of the Project will attend this event, organised by the European Producers Club, in order to find Indian & European investors and distributors for the film.
In Parallel, the co-directors will be scouting and pre-casting on stage in Pakistan, to prepare the shooting, planned for 2008.
